Just moved to a small town in Eastern Ontario and I’m really trying to avoid the big box stores and support local. Problem is, most places I find online are the same ones everyone already knows. Is there a site that actually helps you discover lesser-known, truly local businesses?

Thanks so much for the recommendation! I’ve been trying to avoid the typical chain stores and was really hoping to find something more community-focused. Just checked out Eastern Ontario Local — it looks like exactly what I needed. Can’t wait to explore a few hidden gems!
